The King's Arms was buit in the mid 1500's as a public house and inn. The building remains unaltered although certain internal partitions have been removed. A majority of the beams are still original.
At one stage the whole of this end of the quay was a continuous parade of Public Houses and Inns. The Kings Arms is now the only remaining "Inn on the Quay".
The main bar area remains unspoiled with an abundance of beams, a wood burning stove and a wide range of real ale
There is an excellent range of food available every lunchtime and evening meals are served throughout the year.
